Jätte-Boulen is a Boule Pétanque tournamant which is played during the summer of 1996 at Jättens fin-fina boulebana in Karlstad, Sweden. This year 23 two player teams registered, but due to lack of time, three teams have withdrawn from the tournament and left twenty teams playing.

The players are all non-licensed boule players, neighbours, friends and relatives. Many of the players have never played the game of boule before, but play quite well all the same.

The eight teams playing best during the tournament meet to play the exciting final games on the sunny saturday of august 17. The winners will receive fame and glory as well as fine prices.

On the evening after the finals, all players are welcome to a kräftskiva (a very swedish late summer party when we eat crayfish and drink just about anything). Simple. Just bring a table, a chair, and everything you want to eat and drink. It's the third year we are having this traditional party, and it's getting better every year!
